Thinking about how we travel and reducing our use of plane travel, in particular, can be hard to do.
One thing we can do though is to think about where our food comes from and help there.
If we go to a greengrocer or stalls at the town market we are more likely to get locally grown and seasonal vegetables. You may also find that your fruit and vegetables are put into paper bags and not covered with plastic! A double whammy!! So step out of your comfort zone and use local shops, not the supermarkets!
Local butchers too tend to source their goods from farmers in the area and can use non-plastic wrapping for the customer if desired.
Use your high street shops to cut carbon emissions and help save the world!!
