  The club meets almost every Monday, following the pattern of the school terms.  There is an afternoon group from 2 - 4 and an evening group from 7.30 - 9.30.

  Painting four litter bins for the Village has
  become quite a feature over recent weeks
  for both Groups.   Designs range from the humorous to the
  thought-provoking with
  some village iconic images too.   Once painted
  and varnished they will be placed around the
  Village for all to enjoy and hopefully use.

  
  

  A few members have also been helping
  Yrs 5/6 children from Rothersthorpe Primary
  School to paint a mural of ‘Nature’ on a 70ft
  span of the MI Bridge wall at Blisworth Arm.
  Over three cold and wet days, the children
  (and us) showed great resilience and enthusiasm
  for painting foxes, badgers, butterflies, flowers
  and birds from drawings produced by Art & Craft
  Group Members.   The outcome is bright and
  beautiful and will be enjoyed by walkers and boaters
  alike.   Perhaps you will go and see it sometime.
  It was a cultural arty activity for the children when so
  much art has been cut from the school curriculum. /
  The Art & Craft Groups will soon be preparing for
  the Art Gallery & Picasso Pantry for the August
  Festival.   As usual, this will be held in the Village Hall.
  Sale of Member’s Art, Ploughman’s lunches & Cream
  teas will be the order of the weekend.   Hope to see you.
